For the FOURTH year in a row, DeniS has been selected by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the world’s best travel designers.

Laos may be called “the forgotten country” but Denis Page knows it well. He put together a fabulous itinerary for me, traveling beyond Luang Prabang to remote areas of Laos and experience the rich history and culture of the Lao people. The accommodations, guides, drivers and vehicles were all excellent. Denis took care of everything. Thanks for a great trip!!

What can we say? You hit another home run! Alan and I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for orchestrating a truly spectacular journey to Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam.
This adventure was nothing short of magical, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your expertise and dedication. The guides, the hotels!!, the excursions all made for a fabulous trip filled with so many memory making events. Now, I can’t wait to download my pictures so I can get to experience it all over again. Thank you for your patience and understanding and we can’t wait to do another Longitude 80 adventure.Where to next???!!!

Dear Denis, we write this letter to acknowledge your enthusiasm for facilitating seamless access to the various venues and activities we so enjoyed during our visit to your New Zealand. We commend you for so kindly being our full-time personal guide and driver and we are grateful to have been so welcomed by your island country. Your liaison inspired the truly genuine acceptance we experienced. We thank you for your contribution, helping us realise our ambition to enjoy Kiwi life in such a personal way and cherish the time we spent together and a newly found friendship.

I don’t want to let any more time pass before thanking you for organizing and curating our wonderful trip to Bhutan and Nepal, including our brief stay in Bangkok. There were many highlights. Seeing the countryside in both countries, and seeing how people there lived outside the cities, was eye-opening. Meeting yak herders and their families was a special treat. Staying at Happy House in Phaplu was a great idea. It is a bit off the beaten path for trekkers and backpackers in Nepal and gave us a chance to get to know more of the Nepalese people and see life in a village up close. Our helicopter pilot for all of our transfers in Nepal was the only female helicopter pilot in all of country, our local guide had summitted Everest twice. Our guide in Bhutan gave us the shirt and coats off his back…literally and looked after us so well during our private trek. Every place we stayed in Bangkok, Bhutan, and Nepal, the hospitality was warm and genuine. They were truly happy to see us and committed to ensuring we enjoyed our time there. These were great times to be traveling to each of these countries.

Once again we praise your incredible (and very under the radar) company….
— Greg and Cindy Stone.
We have never experienced the level of service and support from a travel planner as we did with Denis. He was in touch with us not just in the planning stage, but the entire time we were in NZ on our ski holidays. Aside from finding us fabulous places to stay on such short notice and recommending unique and amazing adventures, he, in fact, really saved our vacation when bad weather, combined with school holidays chaos, wreaked havoc at the airports and all our domestic flights got cancelled. Denis literally worked magic on how to get us to a less busy airport and then connect over land to our destination with a driver and a van in the middle of the night. We would never have been able to pull that off without Denis’ knowledge, guidance, and determination. He didn’t have to do any of that. We’ve worked with loads of really good travel planners across the globe over the years, but I would say Denis is especially good at what he does.

So thank you, Conde Nast. You picked a winner in Longitude 80!

Uber ride to Minaret Station…

It’s 2020. You have ten weeks to spend on a journey to Denis Page’s rather extensive back yard. You want to see it all, have it well-paced, you want stunning nature and the wildlife that thrive there, education and cultural immersion, wine tasting and good eats, extraordinary guides, a little lux and lots of comfort. Who you gonna call? Denis had already organized an astounding trip for us in 2011 to Myanmar, Bhutan & Thailand so that question had only one answer: Longitude 80. The scope and organizational demands of a trip this length are the kind of challenge that Denis was built for. It was a vast puzzle of space and time and budget and Denis has a real array of talents (check out the other testimonials) but in our book he is at heart a problem solver. Whatever your problem, your desire, your need, he will find a way to satisfy it if at all possible. If he is not guiding you, he is in constant daily contact with you and, more importantly, all the people you will deal with, checking on every detail and anticipating problems so they never happen. His ability to deal with the complexity of travel in these difficult times is, in my experience, peerless. He cares more. He worries more. He anticipates more. In short, over 72 days we stopped at 18 fine hotels, 8 (astounding) lodges, one 7-day snorkelling cruise, one 2-day sailboat trip, two nights on a train, and one helicopter ride (to the glacial top of the Southern Alps); all with 14 hand-picked guides who didn’t just share their extensive knowledge but gave us a deeply personal sense of what it meant to be an Aussie or a Kiwi. This is too long I know for a normal testimonial but this was not a normal trip and Denis is anything but a normal guide and operator. In this neck of the world’s woods, you can find no better.

Dear Denis, I want to express our thanks to you for organizing our three week trip to India (which took place just ahead of the Covid-19 lockdowns!) We had a truly wonderful and memorable trip. While we were traveling, I came to realize how much thinking and planning you had put into this. Flying us to Varanasi (at our request), then going by car to Agra and by train to Ranthambore were perfect ways to show us all the different and fascinating aspects of life in India. The mix of destinations and activities could not have given us more impressions and experiences in such a short space of time. This includes meeting the craftsmen and seeing their work, the Holi celebrations and the meals we enjoyed so much. So all in all, we had truly great time, even without your companionship and I look forward to traveling (with you) as soon as travel conditions permit. Stay well and enjoy your enforced solitude in New Zealand.

Think outside the box... Denis sure did with my private photography trip across Vietnam and Laos. I wanted hill tribes/no touristic places/gorgeous landscapes/daily life/wonderful lodges plus being teamed up with local professional photographers and knowledgeable guides. I got all that and so much more. Two amazing countries and I’ve got the best pictures! I am ready for my next expedition. Denis... You can do it!

Spectacular! Extraordinary! Once in a lifetime! Our multi-generational family trip to Australia exceeded all expectations in adventure, authenticity and Aussie hospitality. The days spent at Haggerstone Island and the Bullo Station remain especially vivid in our minds and in our stories. Longitude 80 gave us the ultimate gift of shared time and extraordinary experience. Can’t wait to explore another country together.

As I sit and reflect on our recent “Denis Adventure” on a clear sparkling day in Sydney I realised what a unique experience it was travelling with our close friends on the Tea Horse and The Silk Roads. Denis is the Master of Organisation and Detail (MoOD) no matter how large or small, it all just happens. This takes enormous amount of time, research, knowledge, understanding of the culture, coupled with fostering wonderful relationships with the locals on every level. We have had the great privilege of having Denis organise many trips for us and each time we are amazed at what he knows, is able to achieve to ensure we have a wide variety of experiences plus the best that country has to offer

Thank you for organising a fascinating trip for us and our friends along China’s Silk Road from Xi’an to Kashgar. We feel privileged that we travelled this vast area that presented to us constantly changing, dramatic landscapes, extraordinary history and wonderful people with a deep sense of their culture. This would not have been possible without your detailed organisation and engagement of fabulous local guides. We look forward to travelling with you again.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have been guided by Denis through China, New Zealand, and most recently Australia. Denis designed a truly extraordinary two-week trip to Australia for our family (6 adults and 5 teenagers), including visits to a private island at the Great Barrier Reef; the Queensland rain forest; a cattle station in the Northern Territory; Sydney; and Melbourne. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. Every single detail of the trip was meticulously planned to make traveling seamless and the entire experience memorable. As a consummate travel professional with impressive in-country expertise, Denis offers a truly exceptional standard of service.

The only person I trust to travel with in Asia is Denis Page.  I’m an avid traveller, I organise many trips and own a travel boutique in Brazil. I’m convinced that Denis is the best travel planner and host you can imagine. He organised my private family trips biking through China, my three visits to China, Cambodia and Vietnam with my husband Jorge and Brazil’s former president Fernando Cardoso, and my health weeks with my girlfriends in Myanmar and Yunnan. Traveling with Denis means sure surprises, real culture immersion, smooth transfers, adventure in the right measure, a good bed, many good laughs and a traveller that  knows he’s being taken care of! I only travel with my sherpa Denis in Asia!

This holiday was awesome and all the details and special surprises were incredible. You opened doors in Thailand that few can and we loved meeting your friends in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Even the porters at the hotel love ya! What impressed us most is how you even had time to plan some events for the pilots…well done Longitude 80!

My husband and I took our first biking trip with Denis to Nova Scotia around 2000 as we opted for a private trip. Denis was an incredible guide-we were all won over by his fun loving attitude and thoughtfulness. When we planned our next big trip, we opted for Myanmar-again with Denis because he was simply the best guide we have had. That trip was magical with many special events - but Denis was also a wonderful traveling companion in addition to his many other attributes. We did yet a third family trip with Denis to Laos - and again he did not disappoint. I have referred many of my friends and acquaintance to Denis - and everyone has appreciated his professionalism, attention to detail, and the fabulous itineraries he created. I think Denis Page is in a class all by himself!

A big thank you for all you did for us while on our incredible journey in Myanmar. All was perfect, you went way over the call of duty, I only wish you organized trips in other parts of the world. Bangkok was terrific, our experience at The Siam Hotel was wonderful, as you said it could easily be a destination in itself. All the best and thank you again.

Denis,I wanted to extend a final thank you from me, my dad, and two brothers for the incredible trip you organised for us in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The four of us are seasoned travellers, but this was the trip of a lifetime, and one that none of us will ever forget. I don’t even know the countless hours, phone calls, emails, and coordination that you put into making it happen, but I do know that the result was planned and executed to perfection. Thank you so much!

We have been to many places around the world in the last 20 years, we have done the fantastic family holidays like Maldives, Mauritius, Bora Bora, Bali, Hawaii etc etc but the trip we all still talk about was the one you organised for us in China ! The drivers, the guides, the locations, the pre-read books, it was really unique.
